Home Inspections for those looking to minimize face-to-face interactions
While we are business-as-usual and continue to inspect homes with buyers, agents (and sometimes, sellers...yikes!) present, we understand that this may be overwhelming to some. We continue to take precautions to keep ourselves and our neighbors safe from COVID-19, and offer an alternate inspection solution for those not interested in meeting face-to-face for a home inspection. This keeps our buyers on-track to finding their next home and helps Realtors meet the requirements for closing.
Home Inspections are too important to avoid. For customers who are managing social distancing, here is what you can expect from us.
- Reports: For all inspections, we provide a detailed report complete with specific recommendations and pictures to support each area of concern. Reports are always available within 48 hours, but often sooner. We also document and photograph important items that are not problems, but important details about the home (furnace maintenance records, important plumbing shutoffs, roof photos, etc.).
- Mid-Inspection Discussions: If helpful, we will call you during the inspection using Facetime or just a phone call. You need to be part of this process.
- Follow-up Discussions: We will schedule a call soon after the inspection to review all of our findings and give you an opportunity to ask any questions. This is nothing new for us.
We'd love for you to be at the inspection, but understand if you'd rather not. There are no additional fees for this, just an extension of how we would want to be treated if we were the Customer.
